I love the Classic Diner and go there quite a bit. My bad experience was with Kristy in catering. She didn't write the date down and prepared food on the wrong day. She didn't apologize. I ordered another tray of cookies because I forgot my groupon on the first order and paid cash. So I placed another order so I could use the groupon. When I went to pick it up, I was told I had already spent my groupon and they weren't giving me another. I told them I had paid cash the first time and had not used a groupon. I was told that my groupon would not be honored and to call catering. So, I left feeling like people thought I was trying to steal. No one called me to explain that the order had been cancelled by Kristy. Couldn't she call so I wouldn't have to drive all the way over? When I called Kristy, she wouldn't listen to anything I had to say. She told me Groupon had illegally sold my certificate, she was calling her lawyer, she was not honoring the groupon, and I should call groupon for a refund. I felt like a criminal. She would not let me get a word out.

Groupon posted this deal without the diner's consent so classic diner didn't honor the deal and I was refunded my money.

very small, small seats and tables- no elbow room. Chicken was dry.
