Starting on October 15, the four-week nurse aide course trains students in the necessary skills to provide nursing care in most healthcare settings. Upon completion of the course and state exam, graduates will be qualified for entry level positions as a certified nurse aide.

American Medical Institute

The American Medical Institute is a vocational nursing facility with more than 14 years of experience training nurses and the public in subjects such as CPR, first aid, and medication assistance. They offer a 12-month vocational nursing program for high school graduates, as well as abbreviated courses for students who wish to become nurse aides or medication aides. They also offer daily courses that focus on CPR, first aid, diabetes awareness, and other medical procedures.
