Buenos Aires Gardens
Morsels of grass-fed skirt steak, short ribs, and filet mignon sizzle on tabletop grills. Sweet caramel sauce runs down the sides of flan con dulce de leche. Light breading crisps atop a whitefish fillet. Each night, kitchen staffers, led by chef Mauro Sandoval, fill the warmly-hued dining room at Buenos Aires Gardens with the savory sights and smells of authentic Argentinian fare. Outside, strings of incandescent bulbs sway above an umbrella-shaded patio as waiters test the deftness of their carrying arms by juggling bottles from the eatery’s wide selection of South American wines.

“I'm not sure if this was the way Argentinian food is actually cooked and presented, as I have never been to a specific restaurant of this nature. I would have liked to talk to the chef, but I figured I would have not been acceptable to do so. I felt the meal was bland, the mashed potato's tasted as if they were from a box, made without milk... tasted like air... hmmm. The vegetables were very bland also, with very little taste. The hostess and waiter were very nice and efficient. I feel that the restaurant has potential but it really needs to improve it's food. The chef NEEDS to taste the food!!! I will try again in about 6 months.”
