Chocolates by Kelly

Kelly Walker traces her family’s candy-making gene all the way to her great-great-great-uncle Al, an employee at Philadelphia’s Wunderle Candy Company. His daughter, Mabel, worked as a chocolatier at the legendary Wanamaker’s department store, sharing her confectionary secrets only with Mary, her daughter and Kelly’s grandmother. When Kelly turned 19, Mary gathered her daughters and granddaughters and gave them their own confectionary lesson, covering everything from tempering chocolate by hand to crafting buttercreams on a cold stone table.

Ever since that first lesson, Kelly’s refined her chocolate-making skills, the results of which compose Chocolates by Kelly’s handcrafted treats. Her lineup of sweet-tooth temptations ranges from ginger peanut caramels to s’mores chock-full of handmade marshmallow. She even crafts vegan bites such as vodka cranberry cordials, as well as chocolate balsamic vinegar, the perfect dressing for a fresh candy corn salad.
