When clients enter Excelsior Nails & Spa, they meander past white manicure tables and climb upon modernly upholstered pedicure banquettes. Seasoned nail technicians place clients’ feet in an alabaster basin wrapped in stone, letting skin soften in the warm water before glazing feet with naturally derived elixirs such as a sugar scrub or marine mask. Extra touches augment most of the salon’s nail treatments: A hot-towel wrap cloaks hands during a spa manicure, and a hot-stone massage soothes achy arches during a signature deluxe pedicure.
