At Firebellz, a staff of firefighters, cancer survivors, and other courageous individuals inspires clients to tackle their goals with kettlebell exercises developed by Russian fitness guru Pavel Tsatsouline. Each instructor sports at least one set of credentials, including the prestigious StrongFirst certification, which teaches them how to tame back injuries and overgrown pet iguanas with strength-building exercises. Safety-focused beginner classes impart basic lifts that cultivate muscle tone, endurance, and flexibility and advanced classes emphasize proper alignment as students explore moves such as swings, cleans, and squats. Additionally, Z-Health specialists can develop a custom joint-mobility training program for clients with chronic pain or a limited range of motion. Personal training may incorporate other functional training drills, from sprinting through car-tire obstacle courses to playing tug-of-war with giant strands of licorice.
