Grand Rapids Beer Fest

They come from across the ocean, they come from across the country, they come from right around the corner. They're the craft beers of the Grand Rapids Beer Fest, and they come by the dozens. From New Orleans comes the smooth yet complicated brews of Abita Brewing Company; from California comes the homey TailGate Beer, the deeply flavored ales of The Bruery, and the crisp cider of Fox Barrel. From abroad, there's Lion Brewing of Sri Lanka, the iconic Newcastle Brown Ale of England, and Hofbräu München of Munich—a pillar of brewing history founded in 1589. And then there's all the hometown favorites: Founders Brewing Co., Perrin Brewing, and Brewery Vivant. All told, there will be 60 breweries represented, more than enough for a massive crowd, no matter how many of them are Vikings.
