Choose Between Two Options

  • $75 for a concealed-handgun course for one (a $150 value)
  • $149 for concealed-handgun course for two (a $300 value)

During the 10- to 15-hour class, a certified instructor reviews Texas’ concealed-handgun laws, statues, and rules. Next, students complete a shooting qualification by firing 50 bullets from three distances of up to 15 yards. The class concludes with a 50-question final exam. Upon passing the test, students receive the certificate needed to apply for a Texas concealed-handgun license, which costs $140 and is not included in this deal.

Available for new licenses or those renewing licenses, the class is offered each Thursday or every Saturday of the month. Basic marksmanship is not reviewed, so participants must demonstrate an understanding of handgun use and safe storage.

Gr8 Workout: Fitness & Safety

The instructors at Gr8 Workout: Fitness & Safety believe that true physical fitness is demonstrated not by showy chiseled muscles, but by the ability to exert explosive power. During classes, the instructors guide attendees through a nontraditional blend of exercises that involve calisthenics, heavy ropes, and beer kegs. This helps students increase muscle strength while avoiding boring exercises such as leg presses or leg presses while reading _ Anna Karenina_. Classes head outside to drag heavy weights on sleds or lift kegs over their heads, and participants flip tires across the parking lot to build full-body strength.
