What makes your business stand out?
(Parentheses) Photography caters to women. As women ourselves, we know what makes a woman feel beautiful and we strive to make you look your absolute best! We not only offer professional hair and makeup, but we also offer a styling service, where we take the style you are trying to achieve and your sizes and create a look unique to you for a one-of-a-kind shoot.
What inspired you to start this business?
My love of photography, fashion, and people [created] (Parentheses) Photography. My belief in helping every woman see the beauty in themselves inspired me to shoot women.
What is your most popular offering?
My clients usually purchase a canvas of their most favorite image from the shoot to display somewhere in their home, and they usually order a photo book of the rest to take on-the-go to share with friends [and] family.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
I've had many people who have traveled from afar just to come and shoot with me. I've even had someone fly from California and someone else drive all the way from Georgia. I think someone who sees the value in what you provide and is willing to sacrifice that amount of time and energy just to be in front of your lens and have that experience with you, is just hands down amazing.
What’s your favorite part about your job?
My favorite part about my job is the in-person viewing [and] ordering sessions. I get to have my client in front of me while they view the images we created together for the first time. Some women are shocked because I have brought out a side of them that they have never seen before. Others have cried and have told me that they have never thought of themselves as something so beautiful. And I've had others that didn't even want to leave their viewing session because they wanted to keep looking at themselves. I LOVE that I help people see themselves in a whole new way. It is definitely an ego booster!
Anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
The majority of my shoots are with women who have never ever done this type of thing before. Most of them are mothers, businesswomen, or housewives who are always taking care of the people around them and worrying about themselves last. So, when they come to us, we make sure to take very good care of them!
