The Deal

$25 for a Pueblo Grande Indian Market package for two ($50 value)

Hosted by the Pueblo Grande Museum Auxiliary, the 37th annual Indian Market fills the Pueblo Grande Museum with the foods, crafts, and cultural traditions of the region's native peoples. Festivities begin with Friday night's kick-off event at the Radisson Phoenix Airport. There, guests can munch hors d'oeuvres while jamming to tunes from Smokestack Lightning or scoping out new looks during a fashion show led by Shayne Watson Designs.

On Saturday, the market itself opens, inviting guests to visit merchants peddling everything from fine art to tempting fry bread. This year, the festival features even more cultural pride; dubbed Ki:him (after the O’odham word for community village), the temporary village will showcase the storytelling, music, and foods of tribes from throughout Arizona.
