The fruit-acid or chemical peel begins with a deep facial cleansing before an aesthetician applies the peel’s skin-smoothing ingredients. After the peel is removed, a nourishing mask soothes skin and helps restore it to its normal pH, making way for a final rinse and moisturizing. During the european facial, an aesthetician exfoliates the face with a sudsy or creamy cleanser. After a steam using warm towels that have been submerged in essential oils, the aesthetician finishes things off with a mask for the face and eyes and moisturizer to hydrate the skin.
