Great location. This hotel has onsite parking and is convenient to the Metro. Lots of shops and restaurants are a short walk from the hotel. Standard breakfast and gym make for a nice Hampton stay. Front desk staff is very friendly. Rooms are nice but elevator is a little jerky at times.

On of the Best Hampton Inn's This hotel is one of the best Hampton Inn's I have ever stayed at. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly. Also, a great location next to the Metro Station. The elevator was a little slow, and sadly, there was no pool. But otherwise, good hotel!

Good but not great I’m a Hilton loyalist and Hampton Inn is typically where I try to stay, so I’ve been to lots of their properties. This one has a lot of what you expect from Hilton and Hampton, but the property is definitely showing its age. Beds aren’t soft like they usually are and the elevator is painfully slow. It’s still clean, the front desk is friendly, and they have a good breakfast, so it’s still not a bad place to stay, especially given its location to the Metro and all that Alexandria has to do. The building just needs some modernization.

Nice Hotel but Little Water Pressure The hotel is very close to the metro, which is a plus. The free King Street trolly stops in front of the hotel and will take you all the way down King Street to the waterfront. Breakfast each morning provided a variety of hot and cold items, and it was different each morning that we were there. The front desk staff was amazing. They were so friendly each time we came back to the hotel and were quick to offer cold water during the day when the temperatures reached close to 100 degrees. The elevators were little sketchy and could use a refurbishment along with the bathrooms. Water pressure in the shower was almost non-existent. I would have had better luck washing my hair outside in rain. There was also no exhaust fans in the bathrooms. Overall a nice stay, but low water pressure is a deal breaker for me; therefore, I would likely stay at another Hilton property nearby.

Smelly gross room. Old run down hotel. Extremely disappointed. I stay in Hilton Properties all over the country. This one was dirty and run down. Our room smelled disgusting like a wet dog. I had thought in Old Town it would have been decent. Too far from the water front with the excessive heat. Don’t stay here.
