Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Austin South

Simply the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Red Roof Plus at South I-35 in Austin, Texas, was simply the BEST hotel I've ever stayed at. Aside from a brief mix-up caused by the front desk computer trying to double-tax me, my stay there was about perfect. (To prove your own advance arrangements, keep that Reservation phone number and your Confirmation Number handy when checking in!) Otherwise, everything was great. They set me up in a very quiet room on the 4th floor. The room itself was totally clean, with its own microwave and refrigerator. But the most outstanding thing about the hotel is its terrific service. The entire staff was very efficient and attentive; but BEST OF ALL was the concierge, Monica S. Without a car of my own, I was having trouble arranging to return the suit I'd rented for my daughter's wedding. Monica just upped and VOLUNTEERED to take care of it, and then she in fact returned it for me. After my stay at this EXCELLENT hotel, I would recommend the Red Roof Plus to anyone. AFW

Great value and service. I've stayed at this Red Roof a number of times this year and last year. I've always been very satisfied with the service and condition of the rooms. The manager, Juan Marroquin, and front desk clerk, Amanda, are always very friendly and helpful. This hotel is a great value. The rooms are always clean and the beds are very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Best Guest Experience I’ve had nothing but a great experience here with the guest experience being kept to a high standard as well as being very personable with the guest I love this location Monica was sooooo helpful in giving me a quality customer experience along with having knowledge about the surrounding areas in case you need to do things outside of red roof. Rock n Roll in Positive Places (red roof inn plus plus) TripAdvisor I have nothing but PRAISE for Red Roof Inn plus plus in South Austin. - [ ] Facility - [ ] Location - [ ] Staff My wife and I have called RRIPP our home for over six months…that says a lot. At the end of this COMPLIMENT, I will share our initial experiences to give the reader a perspective as to how and why we stayed so long The hotel itself is comfortable…a bit older but it’s reflected in the pricing… The location is great for one’s daily needs…if one uses back roads one can access many stores and/or restaurants… just ask the staff for backroads cuz GPS doesn’t know them!!! er The staff is awesome… here’s a list of most I recall (Sept 19 to this week) - [ ] Housekeepers - all but I don’t know names; non intrusive and respectful; I werk 10 plus hour days and my wife sleeps in as she can be a night owl - [ ] Maintenance- Awesome Arturo…oh I don’t know most last names either - [ ] Front desk staff names follow in next bullet… - [ ] Sandy, Monica, Bertha, Henry, Angel, Juan (possibly others since September 19); each of them are extremely professional, respectful and assist my wife with the discounts due to our membership (since 2009 - Mobile, Alabama - [ ] Skye and I have bought the staff lunch recently- they are so AWESOME!!! - [ ] And give extra things for their break room to snack on or drink I am somewhat sad to say that our time here will end this Thursday as my contract is up. We eventually end up in a few potential spots/contracts. I have already investigated the red roof inn accommodation in Ohio, North Carolina and Southern California…all potential contracts for me. This RRIPP has been wonderful but I hope not to return BECAUSE Austin is not as Great as it used to be - [ ] 75% of our customer service experience in Austin has been disappointing…hotels, restaurants, stores, grocery stores and the like oh airBNBs too - [ ] We don’t stay extended as one week was a disappointment - rude front desk clerk… her name begin with an “O” believe - [ ] We don’t study at studio 6;where we stayed for 2 months before finding RRIPP;the day staff were control freaks and misinformed…and intrusive ,a story for another time. TripAdvisor I am requesting that POSITIVE action be taken towards this awesome hotel!!! This request comes from me, your customer, of many years. I/we have been here over six months. Always greets me with a smile! Monica at the front desk goes above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as she can. She goes out of way to make sure I have everything I need and has the right answer to every question I ask. She is a very kind and understanding person that knows how to help people when they are check in & out. She is a great asset to your Red Roof team. She is the true definition of what an innkeeper really means!
