Hampton Inn Boise - Airport

Well priced and safe location Middle aged room furniture and carpet throughout the hotel. Yet, clean & comfortable for it's age. Breakfast was what you would expect and you are in walking distance to Applebee's restaurant. Surprisingly quite for being so close to the airport, and contently located. Gas station at end of block. Yes I would stay again if I ever return to Boise.

Not What We Expect from Hampton Inn We have been staying at Hampton Inns since 1999 and rarely encounter any issues. Sadly, this property failed in 3 areas. We chose our room the night before as we always do as we prefer to be on the top floor, away from the elevators and in a 2 bed room. When we arrived 8 minutes before check-in time of 4 pm we were told that the room we selected was not ready. The excuse was that there were 52 check outs that day. We asked for another room and were told that there were no 2 bed rooms that were ready. The excuse was that cleaning starts at one end of the property where all the one bed rooms are. The staff person at the desk did not handle the situation in a professional manner. We did get checked into a room which was near the elevator. After using our own Clorox wipes, I went into the bathroom to wipe the faucets and noticed what appeared to be some spots of leftover cleaning solution in the tub. I used the wipe on the bottom of the tub and it was covered in dirt/dust as the wipe came up black. I rinsed the entire tub bottom and the water left a brown streak down the middle of the tub after it drained. We chose not to bring it to the attention of the person at the front desk. The beds were comfortable, the internet service was good and the location next to the airport was great. At check out there were 3 smiling, friendly people at the front desk. I hope that our experience is not repeated for other guests.

Clean and Comfortable This hotel is staffed by very nice people who are willing to go the extra mile, such as deliver your suitcase that was lost by your airline when it arrives after midnight! Of course, they called up to my room and asked if I wanted it or wanted to just wait until morning but I wanted it right away. The hotel was clean and quiet in the hallways. The breakfast was especially good and included a number of items. The breakfast area was attractive and roomy. My bed was very comfortable and other than the TV remote that was not very responsive without several hard pushes to the button every time, everything about the room was more than adequate. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It’s location is very convenient to the university and close enough to downtown.

Great place to stay for an early flight out One night stay in late August. We needed to be near the airport for an early flight out. This fit the bill. No noise from street or airport in room. The free shuttle worked out great. We were able to return rental car the night before and then just shuttle out to airport first thing. This is not a resort or fancy place, but it was clean, everything in the room worked, the staff was friendly, and they had the hot coffee and breakfast pastries out early enough so we could grab a bite before we left. If I had the same situation in Boise, I would most certainly stay here again.

Fun Our daughter is a boise state gymnast so we come to town often, we love staying at hampton inn because of convenience and price. Food isn't great but staff are like staying with family and rooms are clean and spacious.
