Great Location For food etc Great location for food etc. There are lot of eateries there. There is a Walmart nearby. Even a gas station. Very Clean area. I felt safe staying there. If you need new towels you have to bring them down to the front desk. I recommend this hotel if you need to be near places to eat. You're right by the freeway to get downtown.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel is a Truck Stop. Can be considered an hourly Motel, definitely not a Hotel. I arrived late at night with kids. The parking lot was full of Semi's. The lobby and elevator reeked of marijuana (weed) which I pointed out to the Agent. I was shown a room which was dark (even with the lights on) and the top covers had stains on them. I definitely did not feel safe staying there. I booked through Priceline.com (Booking.com). I left and booked another hotel. I returned later in the week to speak to the Manager (Terrance) because Priceline stated the Manager had to initiate the refund. The Manager said he was unaware of the incident. He said the majority of his business comes from Truckers due to the location being right off the highway. He said he understood and would work with Priceline to work out a refund. To this day the Manager (Terrance) has been dodging the calls and emails from Booking.com. I based my reservation off a stay at a Comfort Suites in St. Augustine, Florida in March 2024, which was a very nice, clean hotel. The Manager (Terrance) pocketed more than $950.00 from my 6 day, NON-STAY at his hotel. I wish I had taken pictures, but at 10:00pm at night and having kids with me, my first priority was finding a safe place to stay in a state that I was not familiar with.

Worst customer service ever!!! Worst customer service ever. Woman at desk was flat out rude and unhelpful. We arrived at 10pm on Fri 12/8 after booking in July through Expedia. The woman at the desk looked for our reservation and stated that we did not have one. She never introduced herself and had no ID so I am not sure of her name. Most of our interaction with her was dome without her even looking up at us despite us being the only customers at the desk throughout. After we showed her the reservation confirmation she told us multiple times that we must have canceled or done something wrong before she suggested we step away from her desk and call Expedia. We did so and Expedia said that they were emailing her the reservation. After this was attempted multiple times and she stated that she was not recieving the email so there was nothing she could do. We then asked if there was a room we could get if we canceled through Expedia and paid at that time. She then quoted us a price 250 dollars higher than what we had paid. She said that was the best they could do because she didn't screw it up. I then went to the hotels website (not a Third party) I found a room I could book immediately for the same price as our Expedia reservation. When we showed her this she just kept repeating. We don't do online that is not my problem. We explained that this was the hotels website and she kept repeating we don't do online The Expedia rep then attempted speaking to her on the phone. She told them multiple times "I am the manager and this is not our problem." We then decided to leave and stay at a marriott rather than rebooking our room online due to how rude and unhelpful this woman was

Convenient location, bad hotel The location of this hotel is good if you're wanting to have easy access to downtown Dallas. The room itself was overall clean. Those are the only two positive statements I can really make about this hotel. Upon arrival, the front desk person didn't even make eye contact. No pleasantries and no hotel information... he hardly said five words to me. Extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming. The common areas (especially the elevator and the hallway of the floor my room was on) reeked of weed. There was trash outside multiple rooms - somewhat understandable given staffing shortages lately. The room itself was fine. The A/C unit was extremely loud with a rattling noise but that was actually a relief given all of the interstate noise. Also, as a female I felt very uncomfortable walking in and out of the hotel. It seems most of the guests I saw were men and there were a lot of big rig cabs taking up multiple spots in the parking lot. There is a gas station/convenience store basically right in the parking lot of this hotel and a couple of fast food options. But again, it was uncomfortable to be out there. I have stayed here a few times over the years but it has been several years since my last visit. It has really gone downhill.

Convenient Location I flew in with a family member who had business she needed to conduct in the area. She had stayed at this hotel previously when in Dallas and enjoyed the convenience it offered. There are multiple fast food places and restaurants nearby, not to mention a Shell gas station is right outside of the hotel near the parking area. This made it very convenient to pick up water and other drinks or snacks. The hotel is right off the interstate, making traveling quick and convenient, especially with Uber, which we used throughout our stay. We stayed on the third floor in a room with double beds, a sitting area across from the desk area, a microwave, and a small fridge. The room was clean and spacious. WiFi was intermittent, disconnecting from my device after a period of time. We did not need a password to connect, so I just had to go through the process of refreshing and reconnecting. The bathroom was also clean, but we noticed that water was seeping from the pipes underneath and puddling, so my family member called that in our first night. We were on the side facing the interstate, but didn't experience "loud" noises occurring outside. It was an overall good stay, up until we were locked out of our room the second day and had to have our key "recoded" twice to get back in. Another guest had the same problem as we were waiting in the lobby. Once upstairs, the first time, the key still didn't work and someone from housekeeping let us in. When entering all of our trash was still in the room, but I noticed one of the drinks I had bought from Shell and placed in the fridge was missing. Someone had been in our room, left behind a few things in the bathroom to replenish, but did not take used towels, not even the ones we were using to soak up the water that puddled or empty our trashcans, but they took a drink out the fridge. Before that point, the stay was good one even though there was issues with the bathroom pipe leaking water and the WiFi disconnecting. I was bothered by the fact that someone had entered the room and removed a drink instead of taking the trash and towels out. That just seemed weird, unless they believed that we were checking out which was why our key didn't work when we returned. I'm not sure, but all was well except for those issues. I think this is a very good hotel, but this stay was average.
