Amazing Stay..........Fantastical Blue Light Trip My stay has been great, just like I'd like to start this open words of appreciation. I i rised by the welcoming and helping front desk by the lovely lady named Leeda. I might have it incorrect, due to face masks. There was only one room available and doing a third party reservation and a b usy lobby, she was amazing at successfully getting me to a room. The owner has also had my best intentions for a guest and a priveledged customer to make sure my stay was up to date and extended. I didn't get the younger gentleman's name but he made my evening entrance happy with his optimistic welcome and smile. Rooms are rooms, contintinental breakfast's may..... be a feast or back to suffice basics due to Covid (or Conivido/a, as I like to colorfully name our Countries challenge. I will not forget my stay, spread the hotel forward gospel, and look forward to future visits. Thank you from a unfrazzled to happy blessed customer, Cimmy....... Cimarron Kincade Spell

A pleasant stay at an affordable price. My wife and I stayed 11/18/23 thru 11/25/23. The hotel is located in a retail/commercial area on Potrero Ave, between San Pablo Ave & I80, easy access for auto travel. The BART is an easy 10 minute walk and public transportation is available at the corner of Potrero and San Pablo. A 5-10 minute walk east on Potrero will take you under the BART tracks into a residential area of single & multiple family homes and other neighborhood amenities such as parks, schools and churches. There are many restaurants, Safeway grocery store with pharmacy, and other retail stores within a half mile of the hotel. It is an older hotel. I guess 30 to 40 years old. It was probably originally a low budget hotel of one of the major chains. We stayed at a room on the first floor. All the rooms have interior access. There are no outside access to any of the rooms. The room was clean and appeared to have been recently repainted. The room was equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave. The first floor had manufactured wood throughout, including the rooms. There was no carpeting. Our room had 2 platform beds. Both were very comfortable. The rooms were surprisingly quiet considering the location. The front desk staff and the housekeeping staff were friendly and attentive. There is a small laundry room with a a washer and dryer available on the first floor. Every morning coffee and pre-packaged bakery goods were available in the lobby. The lobby was clean and comfortable. There were several issues with the room. The most disturbing was the condition of the desk. It was completely pocked with what appeared to be cigarette burns. However there was telltale smell of cigarette smoke so, perhaps the damage was done by some other means. The exhaust vent and ceiling/heat lamp needed cleaning. Also, the control switch for the ceiling heat lamp didn't work. There were drawers available for clothing storage. However, there was no place to hang clothes. The closet did not have hangers or a hanger bar. We would stay here again. The quality, condition, location and price was right for us.

Over-rated but still so-so Looks like it was renovated within the past few years, but with slap-dash workmanship and the cheapest materials possible. The Pergo floors felt like they were laid right over the old carpet -- there was a softness to them. Cracked window. But relatively clean and quiet considering the super-ghetto location. Super rude staff at check-in. I'd recommend for a very short business trip if for some reason you need to be in the very area. Otherwise, skip it and move on .

It's OK I'm not sure what to say. The staff, especially the ladies were very pleasant. Sorted out room issues. We faced what looked like a junkyard although the booking implied we would face a landmark. Maybe they were referring to the junkyard! Room was OK. Kitchenette didn't serve much purpose. There was no cutlery etc. You could microwave food. There was a sink. Freezer was filthy, so we steered clear! Place was otherwise relatively clean and we stayed a few days. On the last day we left our luggage and went out and returned later to collect it. Found they had no washroom available in reception. I've never come across this at any hotel I've stayed in. I was though later given permission to use a bathroom. So not necessary though to initially refuse a customer use of a basic facility. I find this wrong in a developed country. The real plus was that the hotel is 3 mins walk to the BART station. Some really very good food options locally too. Lot cheaper than eating centrally.

Mira Vista Hotel Easy to find in an area new to me. Clean, friendly and quiet lodging. Explained continental breakfast hours right away and parking was easy to find too! Vending machines for drinks and snacks and an elevator. Easy access for disabled.
