Great Location & Pet Friendly We stayed here for a quick getaway over the July 4th weekend as we found a good deal last minute and I can say I’ll stay here again. PROS: • Great Location; 5 minutes drive from Galleria and surrounding restaurants and shops. 15-20 minutes from Downtown. Quick access to major highways. • Pet Friendly; there is a $75 fee per stay and you will need to sign a waiver • Newly renovated and rooms are clean. Spacious hallways and large elevators. • Friendly staff and attentive service people in between floors • Spacious rooms with hardwood floors throughout. AC unit kept cold and we appreciated the separation of entry hallway, bathroom from the bedroom. • HUGE PLUS! Deep walk in showers with handheld shower heads. Shower is tiled from floor to ceiling. I wish all hotels would start adapting to this as it was very convenient to wash my dog when he comes in from the outside and just the easiness of showering. • Separate coffee station/bar area with ample counter space and extra sink. CONS: • Hotel was still under most construction on 4th and main floors. Not a big deal to us because we were away most of the time the construction was taking place. They did call us as a courtesy to remind us construction is going on. If you have small children or you’re a light sleeper, I don’t recommend to stay here until they have completed construction throughout. • There’s not a lot of coverage areas for pets. You will need to walk out into the nearby street area to find a decent size grassy area for your pets.

very nice rooms The lobby of the hotel is being renovated, I hope this will address the possibility to have a meeting in a quite area in the future. The room was very nice, in the typical Indigo style - but without an big photo on the wall paper. All is clean an in perfect shape. There is is no iron the room, they provide a steamer instead. That works well for to remove the wrinkles in a shirt, but does not really allow to create a good crease. Breakfast and dinner are still served during the renovation.

Indigo is a “No Go” For the last 10 years this was our preferred Galleria hotel. In February my truck was broken into so I avoided Indigo for past 6 months. On August 19th I decided to forgive and return. Bad decision, the hotel has been sold to Marriott and it’s under a major renovation. Front desk was “amusing” and the ac in two of three rooms we occupied was malfunctioning. I would not recommend this location until they 2024. Too many other great hotels nearby and more issues Indigo/Marriott needs to address.

Beware, currently under construction I've stayed at the Indigo at the Galleria a few times, it has been a very average experience. Some of the rooms were old and dingy, poorly decorated, and lacking cohesiveness (but featuring mold!). Fortunately, as of July 2023, they are performing operating renovations, meaning that the hotel is functioning while the renovations are happening. Personally, I would have preferred to have received notification of this prior to booking, but when I arrived and was informed, I was told that the noise would be limited to the hours of 10am to 6pm. Fine for me, I thought, I won't be here during those hours. Unfortunately, the construction began around 8am, with hammering and similar sounds. This is obviously temporary and will likely be finished by or in August. Looking forward to seeing the new, completed hotel.

Security concerns Accommodations are average. No fridge in room. But what really made this review poor was the fact that our truck was broken into as well as one other and another that got their catalytic converter stolen. We intentionally parked under 2 security lights. When I asked the front desk if they had cameras. They said no. And “ this is Houston”. Thanks. I realize it’s sometimes can’t be helped but if 3 patrons get hit in one night maybe some measures need to be addressed about security.
