Fabulous getaway in E201 I can not say enough wonderful things about staying in this condo at Mauna Lani Terrace. The location is fantastic. We can walk everywhere. There are the King’s ponds, walks through lava fields, and walk to the protected beach for snorkeling at Makaiwa Bay. There is the restaurant Napua that the you can sit and watch the whales breaching right off shore in the winter months. We also walk the beach path to two local hotels, the Mauna Lani and the Fairmont Orchid. In the afternoon, you can often see the turtles, “ Honus”, warming themselves on the beach. The condo itself, is absolutely everything you need for a wonderful vacation. New appliances, lovely large master bath, and the views to the pond and the ocean are the best. Drinks on the lanai in the afternoon, breakfast in the morning. The month of March, presented us with some cooler weather, so we didn’t do dinners, but we have stayed in this condo many times, and many other months dinner outside is lovely. Comfortable and attractive furnishings inside and plenty of stocked kitchen needs. The Mauna Lani shops are also within a short walking distance. A nice small market and Tommy Bahamas for good food and drinks. We stayed for 10 days this last trip, and I wished it could have been more. My husband is a golfer and he can golf many courses within a few miles, including the Mauna Lani courses which are outside your door. Just can not say enough good things about this condo. We love it here and especially this condo.

Almost Great Hawaii Vacay The condo (A303) was an exquisite unit in a beautiful location (penthouse with ocean views), but it was the sub par service from Elite Pacific that clouded our vacation experience. Roof leak, non-working faucet, faulty air-conditioning unit, loud washer and dryer, an expensive Miele dish washer that didn't clean (we had to wash many dishes and utensils by hand), leaky coffeemaker and a Savant entertainment system that came with incorrect instructions. We could have dealt and coped with all these unnecessary problems had Elite Pacific stepped up to the plate and taken ownership of these issues, but they did not. On the contrary, they were arrogant and provided inconsistent service. We called their rep at 5:15 am because there was a terrible roof leak and water all over the foyer, and she had the audacity to say to us "Do you know what time it is?" as if we were interrupting her beauty sleep. First of all, we would not be calling you at 5:15 am if it was not an Emergency. On top of all this, the rep claims she bought us a gift card to Tommy Bahamas which we never saw and will probably never see, and as if this simple gift card would negate all the issues we had to deal during our vacation. Rude and disappointing. Despite all the flaws of the condo, we took care of this home as if it were our own home. We wiped everything down and cleaned everything. We would stay in this unit again but we would not go through Elite Pacific. One other issue is that if you are looking for a fitness center, there is one nearby, but you have to pay a fee for it as it is not included in the Mauna Lani Terrace condos. If you like this area, Auberge remodeled the resort next door to this unit and it is supposed to be beautiful. They were not open for service at the time we were vacationing in Mauna Lani. This is also a great alternative to not using Elite Pacific management.

Now This Is Paradise! If you want a lovely, peaceful, uncrowded vacation on the island of Hawaii, Mauna Lani Terrace condominiums can’t be beat! Beyond that, Unit J102 is just about perfect. It is a first floor unit so all three (yes 3!) lanais/patios open to the lush lawns, native fish ponds, and nearby ocean beaches. We broke our rules about always sleeping in on vacation so that at daybreak we could sit on patio, in the comfy chairs with ottomans, with our cups of coffee, and watch the various birds and critters begin their day, and enjoy the beautiful stillness of the morning. This place is magical! The unit is very well furnished, well-maintained, and very clean. The kitchen has nearly everything you need for meal preparation, and a few basic dry foodstuffs. The nearby pool area for condo residents only, has several very nice large gas grills if you wish to BBQ. The pool area is a very short walk away and has a nice size pool for swimming or floating, a separate shallow kiddie pool, hot tub, bathroom and changing rooms, chaise lounges and umbrella tables and chairs. The ocean and some very small beaches are only maybe 200 feet away. You can see the ocean and hear the waves softly. A nice larger beach with various ocean sports rentals and a great snorkeling area is a very pretty 5 to 10 minute walk away. There is also a small restaurant and bar there. On the north side of the condominiums there is a large hotel that has just been renovated. It offers restaurants and bars that you can walk to, as well as a high end spa. There is a small shopping center that is part of the greater Mauna Lani development that has a well stocked, if a bit expensive, grocery store (be sure to try at least one of their several kinds of poke!), a Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, coffee shop, juice bar, an Tommy Bahama restaurant that makes the best crab cakes I have ever tasted, and a dive and snorkel equipment rental shop, among other stores. Two larger shopping centers are part of the Waikoloa complex, about a 10 to 15 minute drive away. We’ve stayed in this unit twice now and found the property manager terrific to work with, both in booking the unit and answering questions, as well as quickly responding to a minor issue. We have really fallen in love with this development and this unit, and have promised ourselves to try to visit every year!

Fantastic rental + horrible management My family and i stayed for 4 days at D301. The condo was clean, well stocked with everything we needed and more. House was super clean and we really appreciated the hospitality provided. The best time to visit Kona seem like during October where there are much less travellers. We pretty much had the whole beach and pools to ourselves. It is a place you want to make sure you have a car as market is not a walking distance. Only problem we had was with management service. They did not warn us of any constructions on the apartment and we woke up to people working on the veranda staring at our bedrooms. They are gone now but when we spoke to the management/reception about the problem the answer we got it is that it wasn’t their problem. Then the response was what were we trying to accomplish as the apartments are the responsibility of the owners and office hands out only keys. May or may not be true but we has violation of privacy and was exposed to serious theft possibilities. I would warn all possible future renters. Thank you

Beautiful Views in every room - comfortable & luxurious My husband and I stayed at A303 Mauna Lani Terrace at the end of July. We were surprised that the 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo had gorgeous, picturesque views in every room. The condo was luxuriously appointed with new kitchen and baths, and very comfortable. We had180 degree views of the ocean and the fish ponds. Every room has a furnished lanai. We were only a few steps from the beach. We were able to walk the beach/coastline every morning and evening for a beautiful long walk to Puako and back along the golf courses and hotels. We were also able to walk to the scuba dive center. There was also a very pretty walk around the fish ponds. Restaurants and shops were close by with lots of variety. The condo development also has a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and bbq facilities. We were very happy with our choice and definately would stay there again.
