WOW The bed was quite comfortable, the room was clean. Close to many restaurants. The staff was "interesting" I will leave it at that. Lobby has some snacks etc, no price listed for anything only dog treat had prices. Felt overcharged for purchases. Hotel states "dog friendly" this is only if they cannot bark, whine or whimper. Had friends staying at a hotel 8 minutes from here, we were unable to get reservations at this hotel due to availability. My dogs were more welcome at our friends hotel, than at the Sonesta, actually got a call from our hotel 5 minutes after leaving, had to bring them to our friends hotel where they were greeted by the hotel staff as if they were human. Would only stay here again as a last resort if traveling with my dogs.

Read this before you think.this hotel is a deal We got caught in the get a great deal on one of the three hotels (got the sonesta). We got here early and was told that the rooms were not ready until 4pm. The girl said we could not change rooms as we got a special rate from Priceline (the shame) I asked about using the pool as it was not open. I found out it has not been open since COVID. They must have trouble finding pool company LOL. We came back two hours later and was told our room was ready on the second floor but would need to take the stairs as the elevator is not working. We got to the room and find they have saved a smaller handicap room for us. (Only saw 25-30 cars in the lot.) The room is very clean but the girl at the front needs to work on her customer service skills. .

Terrible Wife got Covid so we had to cancel our trip. All of the other hotels we booked gladly refunded our money and wished her a speedy recovery. Not the Sonesta, I guess they rather put all of their other guests at risk due to their greed greed greed greed

Wait until renovation is complete BLUF (bottom line up front): The hotel is undergoing renovations which impact operations and I was disappointed with the numerous issues that arose. The good: I had a pleasant checkout experience where the clerk quickly reversed erroneous breakfast charges. Needs improvement: Staff was unfamiliar with their own corporate rewards program. I am a gold member, courtesy of a nice status matching program. When I tried to check in one hour early, the staff was going to charge me extra until I informed them that was a gold benefit. They also were not going to honor the complimentary breakfast and were unfamiliar with the "gift" for gold members. A manager ultimately offered a "hot" breakfast option as the gift. Breakfast was offered from a temporary "cart" which was wheeled in the tiny check in area, as the regular lobby was closed for renovation. The water pressure was fairly weak for showers. The room was small and it was difficult to get out of the bed on the side which had about an 18 inch clearance. The bed was fairly soft and worn. The A/C unit was extremely loud on the one day that I needed A/C. There is not much within walking distance of the hotel. I checked out and confirmed which credit card the room was being billed to. After the charge did not show up, I had to contact the hotel and fill out a form to get the billing corrected, so this delayed my filing of my expense report. All in all a problem filled stay.
