La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Myrtle Beach Broadway Area

Horrible, disgusting! Avoid at any cost! We stayed here in the month of June 2024. The only good thing about this hotel is the location! Almost opposite to the Broadway area and very convenient. That’s all the good things about this property! Otherwise, the rooms, cleanliness, service - everything is pathetic! We booked a King suite room, and upon checking in, found that none of the room, bathroom, kitchenette area were clean! Age old appliances and hardwares, seemed like none of those ever get cleaned properly! The bed linen was also heavily stained! Lastly, the front desk lady - Wanda - was horrible! At the time of checking in, she told us that no trash cleaning service is provided, rather the guests need to come downstairs to collect the trash bags, pack and dispose it off on their own at the designated place. Also, no towel and bed linen change is done either. But like trash, guests need to ask for towels and bed linena at the front desk, collect from there and do it on their own! We were simply speechless as even the extended stays provide such services periodically! But, housekeeping was done on the next morning and that’s the only time it was taken care of during our stay of 3 nights! Horrible experience and will not recommend it at all! Disgusting!

NEVER My Clients! This location was the worst! As a Travel agent I often do site visits to suggest to my clients and this will never be on my list of options. The floors and bathroom was filthy, the furniture was falling apart, tmyou could literally make snowcones with the buildup of frost that had accumulated in the very small freezer. The beds were disgusting stained and dirty. They were so old that the mattresses tagged in the middle to where a person would literally roll into the bed. The amenities were horrible. The coffee maker sat on a shelf by a mirror at the entrance door, there was no decent cable stations. Although there is an option on the TV to stream from your own device, it was inaccessible. There was a thermostat on the wall that did not work, yet there was an old school ac unit in the room that would freeze h*** over! The location offered free breakfast which consisted of old bagels, muffins, cold boiled eggs, coffee, juice cereal and milk, a waffle making area for one person's use and a variety of fly and bug covered apples and errands the size of plums. This hotel had the ordacity to charge $279 after taxes fir what should have been the price of a roadside hotel at MAYBE $50 a night (and I'm being VERY generously). So for me this place needs to be shut down, revamped and all new staff. My clients and other visitors deserve MUCH better than this

La Quinta experience Breakfast was boiled eggs from previous day as per the lady was taking care of the breakfast, not many choices. No omelet no sausages no home fries.

Great stay for the price This place has a few minor issues nothing that would stop me from coming back. The staff was amazing.
