Reasonable cost and good spot to stay. Pretty decent hotel, but the highway road construction was noisy! Luckily they stopped breaking concrete at 8pm but it sounded like a blown 460 with an 871 blower idling in front of the hotel with open headers. My wife and I came down to visit a buddy and pick up a mustang project car. Parking lot is lit up really nice at night. Parking lot wasn’t really suited for a truck and big car trailer but I was able to park in the far end of the lot. Lady at the counter was really nice. Room was clean except for the shower, the bottom of the tub in the textured area was clean but it looked full of dirt? It was actually clean but needs a deep scrub with some comet or Ajax. (Room 310) bathroom otherwise was very well cleaned. Bed was very good. Slept great. Pillows were great as well. Furniture in the room had assorted minor nicks and damage but just something I casually noticed. Nothing bad…but just normal wear and tear for hotel furniture I guess. King suite with whirlpool tub. Tub was spotless but caulking looked like it had been put over old caulking on tile surround. Easy highway access and lots of reasonable places to grab food just north. Skip the Wendy’s in the next parking lot!! Nasty place. Carpet was clean as was the rest of the room. We will stay here again if we are in the area. Last time we stayed at the quality inn near by and this Comfort Suites is much better. My biggest complaint? Perhaps one of the heat/AC units in our suite (there were two) had large drywall damage by one lower corner. Simple drywall repair is needed and stuck out to me. Other issue is the breakfast at this Comfort Suites, like every other one we have stayed at (Choice Rewards member), honestly the food really lacks. I get it, included with the night stay but orange juice is a cocktail mix with apple juice. Sausage was not good. This is a common CS theme after traveling 65,000 miles in the last three years. Biscuits and gravy, the sausage gravy has the over processed fresh from the freezer taste. Your mileage (and stomach fortitude) may vary so take it with a grain of salt. I’d save room and head north to Cracker Barrel for a decent breakfast myself.

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I don’t like to complain, but hopefully my criticism can be used constructively for improvement because this hotel needs it bad! We stayed here as a group, but every room seemed to have some sort of issue. Upon entering our room it smelled like sweat. The elevator was sketchy. When trying to go up, a girl tried to enter the elevator just as the doors started to close. Elevators are supposed to reopen as a safety feature if someone gets in the way. The elevator tried to close on her. The gentleman next to me tried to use the open buttons to stop the door and I tried to push against it to no avail. She had to back out or she would have gotten stuck! The blow dryer was not working in our room. It was actually half melted! When I asked for some extra towels, the guy at the front desk was very reluctant to give me any and kept asking me questions about what I was using them for. Dude…there are 4 people in our room that need showers. The bed was sloped to one side. The air conditioner worked, but could barely keep up. The people at the front desk put our checkout date in their system wrong and locked us out of our room from our keycards, twice, which had to be reset. My friends staying below me in a ground floor room found 3 roaches in their room!!!! Lastly, the breakfast attendant was rarely present and food would run out and we would have to sit there for 30 minutes waiting on them to “cook”. We skipped out on breakfast the last morning because it wasn’t worth standing around to fight over a handful of sausage patties with the other guests.

Two nights stayed This is a more compact facility. All parking is in the front and on the side. An indoor pool. The facility is more suited to the Business/Job Related traveler. Two queen beds, micro wave, mini refrigerator, desk, bureau, easy chair, ottoman, and night stand. The furniture combined has a total of four drawers. The bath is the usual 5X8 configuration, leaving more available space in the room easier parking for the scooter. The bath is very clean, plenty of towels and floor mat. The issue we had is the diverter in the shower, it is in the spigot and has to be pulled down to force the water through the shower head. The accessory appliances clock, tv, hair dryer, coffee maker, iron and ironing board are all present. The beds are both very comfortable, but at 30 inches my wife had a hard time getting into the bed without a stool to step on. The breakfast COVID protocols, are observed here as well. Still there is plenty to eat and drink as it is continuously replenished. The waffles are round, with a single choice of plain batter. The two night stay ran $181.18. Again I tried to use the Choice App to book the room, but had to call in to make the reservation. Good thing though, the reservation center was going to charge me ten dollars more a night base rate until I brought up the price quoted in the app and the price was matched. I had to put up my credit card to cover a non refundable cost of the room. The App will get a full review of it’s own, later. Over all the stay is a good value. I give them a 7.5 out of 10. Drawback is that one ice machine on the first floor. There is plumbing and signage for one on the second floor, but no device.

flooded bathroom The room itself was just fine, clean, the beds were comfortable. I was getting ready in the morning after our first nignth there and the drain in the bathroom floor started spewing water which flooded the entire room. I threw towlels down and immediately called the front desk who told me they would give us another room. My husband went to get keys for the new room but all they had left was a room with 1 bed. Since there were 3 of us that wouldnt work. So they still gave my husband the keys to the 2nd room and told us to use it for the bathroom when we needed it and that maintenence would be up to fix the problem. We then left to go to a ballgame and when we came back all of the beds had been made, room was cleaned and the floor was dry. The key to the 2nd room across the hall no longer worked so we assumed the problem was fixed. Also while we were gone I realized my husband had left 15 dollars wadded up in a receipt on the table by the t.v. I assumed it would be gone but was hoping it wasn't. Well it was but I try to think maybe someone thought we were leaving a tip. Even though that would be an odd thing to leave a tip wadded up in a reciept. Anyway whatever. The next morning when I turned on the sink the floor flooded again. When we checked out I informed the guy at this front desk that the problem had not been fixed. He told me his housekeeper had reported that the "switch to keep it from overflowing" was down. I informed him it was the floor not the sink and he repeated that the lever was down. Then he seemed to be trying to make me feel bad because they were unable to rent out the room we were to use for the bathroom. I just gave up and left. No offer for a discount or anything to make up for the issues.
