I would stay here again... Very Pleased... unexpected online discount made good price great! Convenient location. Ground floor room, vehicle right outside. Mattress firm - if that's your preference. Ladies panties behind bathroom door on floor missed by Staff somehow (& the Guest as well evidently). No Breakfast, No Coffee Maker.

Everything you may expect from a cheap motel This motel has everything you may expect from an affordable, off-interstate motel. A good bed, a noisy air conditioner, shady types on the lot, construction workers that idle their V8 truck for fifteen minutes before they leave off ... at 6 AM, a grumpy receptionist, a funny smell and not to keen on their cleaning habits.

Visited Beautiful Savannah for a weekend getaway! Warning!!! Please do not stay at this hotel. After checking in late on Friday June 9th 2022. I pulled back the covers to the King Bed and the sheets were stained!!! Upon flipping and inspecting the pillows hair and grease stains were on the pillows. There were small black bugs crawling near the tv and the room smelled like mildew. I was given an air freshener for the odor in the room. I contacted the front desk. A woman who said she was the owner came to my room with sheets and pillow cases to change the linen. She stated that the housekeepers were old and senile and could not see the stained sheets. I expressed to her how disgusted I was and asked to be transferred to another room. The Owner accused me of wanting a bigger room. I told her I want a clean room. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional and told me she would change the sheets but would not allow me to transfer rooms. I immediately contacted hotels.com and tried to get a refund. They informed me the Owner was refusing to refund my money and had charged my card for 1 nights stay. Thank God Hotels.com gave us a credit toward another hotel. The Owner of the Savannah INN is rude and unprofessional and she runs a dirty, nasty, outdated, run down hotel. She made our first night in Savannah a living hell. Please do not stay here... You will be sorry!!! The continental breakfast consist of cereal and milk only! There is a travel lodge directly across the street that was totally the opposite and we were able to get a good night sleep in a clean room...

Wobbly toilet and missing nightstand We arrived around 9 pm, well after check-in time of 3pm. The clerk informed us that he had to enter the room with us to vacuum because it hadn’t been done. He gave us no explanation for this. He proceeded to noisily push a vacuum very quickly around the room, preventing us from getting unpacked and to bed since we needed to leave by 4 am to catch our flight the next morning. The carpet was still dirty in many places after he left as well. I then looked for a place to hang my clothes. There was a clothing bar with a single hook (?) and no hangers at all. I asked the clerk who was vacuuming our room if we could get some hangers. He left and came back a few minutes later with four flimsy plastic hangers that looked like something you would find clothes hanging on in a Walmart. I also asked him why there was no nightstand next to one side of the bed. He first said he would get one for us, then told us he had nothing available and had no other room to give us. So I had to place my phone and other items on the dirty carpet next to the bed, instead of on a nightstand as in a NORMAL HOTEL ROOM. Then it was time to visit the bathroom. For some inexplicable reason, the toilet was placed to the left of what appeared to be the floor drain and flange, so I hope that the toilet was actually draining into a pipe of some kind. In addition to it being placed so that there was maybe a millimeter of space to allow the bathroom door to open and close, it had not been screwed to the floor or caulked around the base, so it was extremely wobbly and rocked back and forth when it was being used. The shower at least was operational, but the faucet and handles were both very loose and the drain has a random loose piece in the tub. Hotels.com rates this hotel as a two-star property, which your website defines as: “Furnishings and facilities are clean but basic. Most will not have a restaurant on site but are usually within walking distance to some good low-priced dining. Public access, past certain hours, may be restricted. Typical National Chains: Days Inn, LaQuinta Inn.” The Savannah Inn does not qualify for this definition. Our room was neither clean nor even basic—it was substandard in every way. I have stayed in many two-star hotels over the years and this was hands-down the worst experience I have ever had. We trusted Hotels.com’s rating and assumed we would get a clean, basic room we would be comfortable in for the night before our flight home, and instead we got a dirty room lacking basic amenities and awful customer service. If we had any other option that night we would have left immediately, but given the time and our need to be at the airport very early the next morning, we had no other choice.
