Clean comfortable room. Front end people very friendly at check in and check out. Breakfast was lacking . At 8:00 AM I got the last cup of Orange juice from the container. No waffle mix available. The room was clean only complaint is the mattress need replacement...they are hard and lumpy.

Older but still nice! We were greeted by a very friendly agent who had a great outgoing personality. Our room was ready and clean with an excellent location. The Inn is an older inn and is preparing to be up dated in the near future, however everything worked and the bed was comfortable. Would stay here again, they also have a pool.

NOT A PLEASANT STAY The staff with the exception of the GM were pleasant, courteous and tried to be helpful. The evening desk clerk was especially kind, helpful and a great example of service to the guest. The hotel itself DID NOT come close to either previous reviews or our expectations. The indoor pool which is why we booked this room was not usable. When asked about this, at check out the GM assured us that it was on all the websites that the pool was under construction. We tried to explain that we never saw that and in fact we would not have chosen that property were it not for the indoor pool. Check in was not smooth, as we got to the property prior to 3 and most hotels when they can will let you in early showing hospitality. Unfortunately, the GM flatly stated that check in was not until after 3 and she could not help us until then. We left and went to begin our adventures in Richmond. We got back later that evening and were checked into our room by a very pleasant front desk clerk. Our room was on the third floor at the end of the hall. The light in the hall over our door was out, the spa tub leaked on the floor and the solution was to give us towels for the floor. No maintenance available until Monday. The ice machines were not working so there was no available ice anywhere on the property, the laundry area detergent dispensers were not working, and the toilet would back up several times during our 3 night stay. They did send a maintenance man on Monday to fix the spa leak only to find that when it ran it sounded like a helicopter was taking off. So it still was not usable. We were not able to speak with the GM until the morning that we were checking out. We tried the day prior because we were told that she would be in only to be told that morning by the front desk clerk that she was not there and they did not know when she would be coming in except that she had an interview scheduled for 1 so she would be there for that. We left a phone number so she could call us and we could go over our concerns and we did not receive a call. When asked at check out the GM assured us that she had tried but could not reach us. We tried to express our concerns, but the GM did not seem to want to listen and was very defensive throughout our attempted conversation. If was obvious that resolution or problem solving was not an expected outcome. We will not be staying at this property ever and unless you just want a red roof over your head and not a pleasant stay we would not suggest you stay at this property. We would not recommend this property to anyone.

Never again This stay was a nightmare. It started before I got there. I was on my way to Kentucky from Indiana and I called to see if their pool is open, the person who answered (Manager F. Walker) had no time to answer questions. She spoke over me when I asked about early check in and scoffed like she was offended I asked. Once I got there I was told they're cash only and I had to load my car back up and go to an ATM then come back. The room doors were not secure and had huge gaps around them and my toilet didn't flush. I called for a manager and no one called back. I emailed and never got a reply. So I tried to call again today, I spoke to the manager (F. Walker) and she, again, wouldn't hear me. She cut me off, laughed at my complaint, told me she wont refund me because the pool was closed (that was only an example of why I called on my way), and she hung up on me...three times. The first time she yelled "Call Corporate then!" before disconnecting, I called back and she let it ring over and over once she finally answered I calmly said "Hi, we just spoke. Can I please have your DM phone number?" and she was clearly angry and said "Google it, Google it, GOOGLE IT!" and hung up again, I called back the final time and calmly asked her name and she reluctantly gave it to me while scoffing and hanging up again. This "manager" never asked my name, to look up my stay, or heard out my complaints. She was quick to anger and get defensive over something that wasn't out of hand. This manager has no business working in hospitality. I had a booking for the entire following weekend and I canceled it within 2hrs of being at this hotel and booked elsewhere. Pros: The air worked The room was fairly clean The desk clerk when I checked in was friendly Cons: The dark parking lot at night The gaps in the room doors The room door doesnt self shut The toilet was broken The ice machines were OOO The pool is OOO Cash only at check in Very dirty floors I would like to speak with the DM to this location in more detail.

After reading reviews I had high hopes...dashed again. Not allergy friendly, not safe. Major safety issues, elevator had a failed inspection sticker on it from Feb 1 2024..still in use, broken electrical outlet by bed, phone jack pulled out of the wall and door into adjoining room took and enormous anount of muscle to get to actually lock. Missing cover on a/c unit. Pass on this one folks
