Excellent Staff, Accomodating Hotel. We were evacuating for Hurricane Helene and stayed at this location for 2 nights. We were originally supposed to check in on Thursday, but decided to leave a day early and check in on Wednesday instead. When we arrived Wednesday night, we were greeted by Mr. Nate. There was some sort of mixup with our reservation for that evening, but Mr. Nate was fantastic and managed to get two rooms booked for my family for that night. He gave me all of the information I needed to check into the 2nd reservation in the morning and was extremely kind and helpful overall. The next morning I spoke with Ms. Amanda the GM about our 2nd reservation. It turned out I had accidentally booked a smoking room, which was not going to work for my family as I have an asthma/allergy child. Amanda was also extremely kind, patient and helpful, even though she was incredibly busy. Amanda gave me all of the information I needed to stay up to date on the situation and was available for me to check back with her several times throughout the morning. In the end, she was able to work it out so we didn't even have to change rooms, and we were good to go for that evening's stay. Evacuating from a storm is so stressful, but Mr. Nate and Ms. Amanda were so kind and helpful to get everything set for my family. Thank you so much!

Comfortable and Quiet Place We had a good night sleep. We only stayed for 1 night. The room was very clean and the floor was quiet. There was absolutely NO mold or smoking odor. The bed was very comfortable too. The only thing we would have like to have is hot food - scramble eggs and bacon was not an option.

It’s Just Okay We stayed two nights in room 221. Cons: When we entered the room it smelled moldy. The ac and refrigerator had been turned off, but even on the second day you had to adjust to the smell upon returning to the room. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work, so showers fogged it up horribly and we all did our business in the lobby bathroom to avoid making the room smell worse. The young adults in the next room slammed the door, ran up and down the hallway horse-playing, and generally sounded like they were trashing the room next door, so nap time was impossible. The continental breakfast was sparse. No meat, fruit, or yogurt. No pool. Pros: The staff was friendly, parking was easy, and it was a nice drive on backroads between the hotel and The Grounds.
