Ver nice stay in the Evergreen suite We love this hotel and stay here whenever we are in Spokane . My husband and I stayed in the Evergreen Suite. It’s a 1 bedroom with living room, kitchen and hot tub room. We were surprised how large it was. It’s on the top floor at the end of the hallway and very quite.

Average at Best, used to be SuperiorI' This used to be the place that would 'always' exceed. your expectations, Now it's more average at best. Check in, customer service was lacking, they use a secondary screen now to 'recognize' you Choice member status, and the front desk individual seemed to not want to be there, very disconnected, and was doing the check in process basically on autopilot. In earlier stays, we were always greeted as we walked in, even before getting all the way to the desk. Rooms were clean and comfortable, no issues there. No major issues with the room during our stay. Parking on the other hand tends to be a premium as numerous vehicles (some oversized) were instructed to park in area where it either 1. is in a marked fire lane, 2. made navigating the parking lot challenging. If you dont arrive early, you may have to park in odd locations, Far from your room. Breakfast is the one thing that seems to have not changed over the years, still a great warm breakfast with lots of stock usually, and is restocked often. Check out was friendlier, but still did not ask how our stay was. There are better options in the Spokane area, but this will do alright, and is nicely located on the north end of town.

Basic Average Room The room was a basic average room. Somewhat small. Nothing fancy nothing special. We were only there overnight thankfully. The room was clean, the hotel in general was clean. The room overall just liked that classy upscale atmosphere. For a quick overnight stay, it would be fine.

No Wi-Fi! No Wi-Fi!!! I cannot believe there is a hotel that doesn't have wifi in all of their rooms. I was on the 3rd floor and they said it didn't work up there but they were booked full so they couldn't give me a different room. Other than that, it's a very nice hotel. Clean. The staff was nice. The breakfast was really good. Good location.

Return Visit Unremarkable We've stayed at this location numerous times, lastly in December 2022, but this most recent visit (June 8-11) proved otherwise which was surprising: The Pros: 1) Appreciated the Keurig unit so we could bring our own coffee pods as always. 2) Air conditioner was adequate and worked well. 3) Fridge and microwave were appreciated and in great working order. 4) Bed was comfy, but we traveled by car, so bringing our own pillows made for decent sleep. 5) There were enough outlets to plug in electronics, to include USB connectors located on the end table. 6) Water was definitely hot and cold from the sink. 7) Not the most affordable hotel, but located around major shopping and restaurants---very good area to walk to some places. The Cons: 1. No parking available if you came back to the hotel in the late evening. The Walgreens lot was an option, as they are next door, but the front desk staff discouraged parking here to avoid towing, so where else would a guest park? We were lucky to locate a handicapped space on our first night, as we had a placard, but that was by the main entrance and a little further from our room. Didn't want to race back to the hotel by 8 or 9 pm on order to get a parking space. 2. Slow plumbing with toilet--had to flush two or three times. 3. Carpet was DIRTY--husband's and my white socks and our bare feet were filthy, and we were shocked, having stayed many times in this hotel and not coming upon this dirtiness. (See attached pics of hubby's socks) 4. For a 2 queen room, space was smaller, and the floor plan was not thought out with this layout, thus the inadequate lighting on one side of the room. One recessed light in the ceiling by the desk, a desk light, and 2-way light on the end table was not enough. We've had 2 queen setup in the past, but there was something odd about this room. 6. There was not a lot of space in bathroom. Was too tight to have 2 adults use the sink at the same time, but appreciated separation from the toilet and sink with a door. 7. Not necessarily quiet on a couple of occasions: some guest had their large dog barking around 1 am, and the people next to us talked too loud and their TV was loud for a short time. Will we stay here again? Maybe, but the hotel is aging and could improve on parking and do some updates.
