Newer hotel The hotel is newer, large & modern. The King room had a comfy bed with flat feather pillows. There were good choices for breakfast and tasty coffee. It was a bit noisy outside but that didn't bother us. I booked the hotel on Hotel.com specifically because we needed laundry facilities and it was listed as having them. Upon check-in we found out that the hotel doesn't have laundry. David was able to direct us to a local one in the community. I will be contacting Hotels.com to correct their listing.

No thanks Before booking this hotel for my business trip, I did a ton of research. This hotel looked promising, so I booked. Although I was only here for 1 night, I couldn't imagine having to stay longer. While it wasn't anything major, it was a bunch of minor items that were just not right. -Bathroom had hair on the back of the door and in the shower, Bathroom door either needs a good cleaning, or a fresh paint job. Bathroom also, has no toilet paper holder. Basically, toilet paper sits on the counter in the bathroom. I can't even imagine how many other people touched this role! -The pillows are terrible, flat and bunched up. -I stay in Hamptons frequently, and breakfast here was probably one of the worst I have seen. -Staff was mediocre. Nobody was very friendly. -I checked in the hotel after dark and half of the Hampton Inn sign was out and that should have been my first sign! If I am every back in this area, I wouldn't stay here again.

A compassionate response. There was an unfortunate event that happened where we had to suddenly close out our reservation. That night we spoke to Arne. The following day we called and spoke to Michelle the manager. After our conversation, they were more than willing to help out and we appreciate their flexibility and understanding. We appreciate Hampton and Hilton for working with us during the event. We will continue to visit their hotels. Understanding and compassion goes a LONG way and that is why we appreciate them. Thank you.

Rude management Assistant Manager is rude and should not work in the hospitality industry. Review of hotel without this factor is 3 stars. You can actually see a pattern of disrespectful treatment of guests in the responses to reviews here. Sure, there are unreasonable reviews, but there are complaints repeated many times here on Trip Advisor that draw insulting responses from management. One complaint on an issue is the guest. Several is the hotel.

Nice stay in tamarac My family stayed 3 nights feb 29 to March 3 rd . Free parking and breakfast. The breakfast was standard Hampton inn breakfast but we are fine with that. The food area was very clean and well maintained. The coffee was really good and offered all day. The room was adequate and kept clean by the hard working staff .the hotel itself is in a great location. There is a Publix next door where we got water and snacks. The outside was well kept too and was location was easy to get to the highway . The hotel also was very safe and at no time we felt unsafe.
