For those who feel the gnaw of indecision when looking over the beer section at the liquor store, fear not: the Sun City Craft Beer Fest offers small tastes of many brews without buyers having to shell out money for a six-pack. More than three dozen craft breweries from across the country will be dispensing foamy pours of their wares, totaling more than 200 beers for the tasting. Local restaurants pair bites with the beers, unlocking such unusual flavor combinations as dumping an entire porter into a bag of corn chips. At the onsite brewing area, expert brewmasters demonstrate the techniques of homebrewing and hose down onlookers with hot wort. Aside from the main attractions, activities include displays by artists and sets by local bands.
The San Antonio AutoRama and South Texas Motorcycle Show beckon like a siren's call to vehicle enthusiasts, boasting hot rods, motorcycles, and souped-up vehicles from the last 70 years. As automakers and custom-car manufacturers show off their wares, custom motorcycles roar around the floor to show off luxurious modifications. Children 12 and under get in free to the family-friendly event, which will include a celebrity appearance by Vinnie DiMartino from TV's American Chopper, as well as competitions for best ride in show.
Toddler Avenue was established by a mom who was tired of chasing her own youngsters out of the "big kids" areas at other indoor play facilities. Such problems don't exist here, however, since all of Toddler Avenue was designed for children up to 5 years old. Inside, tots explore a colorful landscape full of jungle gyms, slides, tubes, and functional items, such as cars and costumes. Parents, meanwhile, can kick back on couches while watching their kids play and read about successful ways to lure boogeymen out of closets.

The sprawling soccer field claims just a portion of the 15,000-square-foot facility. A basketball court sprawls across the neighboring space. Elsewhere within the athletic center, free weights sit ready for lifting, and group exercise classes unfold.
A member of the Zumba Instructor Network, Rock That Body Fitness hosts dance-based aerobics classes designed to tone bodies and bolster self-confidence. Trainees rediscover their inner divas while performing Vegas-showgirl dance routines and Latin-inspired Zumba. Like a formal dinner at the local fun house, each class takes place in the middle of an open, hardwood floor flanked by tall mirrors and festively painted walls.
Desert View CrossFit equips everyday people with the tools to build the body of a hardened athlete, strengthening muscles and burning fat with high-intensity exercises. Rather than wasting time on a treadmill or exercise bike, visitors to the spartan, no-frills gym hoist barbells, climb onto iron rings, and power through pushups, building strength.
