  • MVP Arena Sports
MVP Arena Sports helps young athletes hone the fundamental footwork of soccer with a score of youth [classes] (http://gr.pn/klFDry) scheduled by age. Coaches flutter around the 13,500-square-foot garden of synthetic turf, guiding 50-minute sessions that introduce youngsters to basic game rules, adrenaline-activating drills, and how to use the soccer net to catch butterflies. Balance, coordination, and ball skills compose the Cottontails class for students 2.5 to 3.5 years old, and Micro Advanced classes summon players ages 6 to 9 to dabble in complex toe tactics and 20-minute scrimmages. Athletes should arrive hydrated and wearing shin guards, and are encouraged to explore the facility’s full-service concession stand, arcade-equipped game room, and candy-encrusted cleats collection following their skill sessions. A full list of classes can be viewed at the online schedule.

  • All Star Soccer
With its shades open, Revo Entertainment Center looks like a typical indoor field. With its shades drawn, though, its true colors show. Its true glow-in-the-dark colors, to be exact. The fun center's 3D murals give off an ethereal light that alludes to the spot's specialty: glow-in-the-dark games, that come to life with the help of 3D glasses. During Glow Soccer, youngsters play a game similar to traditional soccer, except in the dark, the field lit by each team's glow shirts and the ball itself. LazerBall, on the other hand, fuses paintball and laser tag into a single, cosmically-themed sport in which players shoot soft pellets and laser light at each other in a battle over the fictional Planet Revo. Though similar to paintball pellets, the LazerBalls do not explode upon impact and won't stain clothes or ruin any priceless artworks used as shields. For littler laser warriors, the center also offers an age-appropriate version of the game known as Lazerball Soft, which uses extra soft spongy balls that are gentle on tiny torsos and limbs.

  • Clavijo Soccer Academy
Fernando Nicolas "Nico" Clavijo knows a thing or two about soccer. The son of former USA World Cup player and National Soccer Hall of Famer Fernando Clavijo, Nico was exposed to world-class play from a very young age. He grew up to start a successful career of his own, playing for C.A. Atenas in Uruguay, the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, and currently, a professional beach team that competes internationally in front of pods of vuvuzela-blowing whales. Nico pools all of that experience into Clavijo Soccer Academy, where he dribbles wisdom into open ears during private and group lessons. He uses the facility to school young players, especially, in an effort to bolster the USA soccer presence amongst global powers such as Brazil, Spain, and Argentina.
