The Smokies, a Double-A minor-league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, hold a commanding lead in the North division with over 30 wins in the season's second half. As the team heads into the 2010 playoffs for the North Division of the Southern League, they are led by three of the top five current batting leaders in the league. You and three other humans can enjoy a night of watching potential future Cubs, and potential (and unlikely) future Grammy-winning recording artists battling a soon-to-be determined rival. All tickets purchased will be seated together in the field level seats, so groups that want to perform synchronized cheers, with a hot dog in one hand, a small soda in the other hand, and a program in the other hand, should have one person purchase all of the tickets.

As a Minor League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, the Asheville Tourists look to improve on last season's 40-30 record with a roster poised for more orb clobbering, field prancing, and bag stomping. Kick up dusty cleats in an up-close box seat at McCormick Field and watch the Tourists turn the Lexington Legends into forgotten folk tales or outclass the crustaceous humanoids of the Lakewood BlueClaws. The first 1,000 fans to enter the field on April 16 and 17 are bequeathed with a free magnetic season schedule, with the latter game treating kids to a pregame autograph session and a postgame base run. April 20 is an education day, featuring a special start time of 11:05 a.m. that allows students to attend the game on their lunch break from school.
