At Garvey Photography, our goal is to provide our clients with distinctive portraiture that will provide a lifetime of enjoyment. Through planning, creativity, skill, and imagination, we strive to produce a work of art that best portrays our clients' families and loved ones.
At Studio 102, photographer Randy Frank draws on 30 years of experience to tell his clients' stories through elegant images. His shutterbugs adjust the state-of-the-art lighting systems they use for fashion shoots to flatter each sitter's face and body, working to bring out individual personalities and disguise disgruntled second heads. An on-staff makeup artist and magazine-level retouching services also aid their efforts to capture clients at their best.
Professional photographer Dana Dawes specializes in capturing life's most cozy moments, and her experience shooting families, babies, pregnant mothers-to-be, and nervous downstairs neighbors of mothers-to-be has left her with a keen ability to reflect, through pictures, the individual personality of each person or family. Your Groupon is good for an hour-long photo shoot; you can choose to come to her well-lit studio for a more formal, 19th-century tin-type pose or summon her to the grounds of your manor or favored scenic vista for a more casual session in a natural setting (up to a one-hour driving distance from downtown Atlanta). Bring the family for a series of candids, opt for a single reel of your newborn son, or capture your little sis on film before she goes away to college. You'll be left with a DVD of all the shoot's images, an 8”x10” of your chosen photo, and 20% off all additional studio-printed images.

Few can dependably predict the future, and Matthew Wolcott probably wasn't prepared to predict even his own destiny while he was studying history at Lee University. A part-time job at Sears Portrait Studio led to classes at the New York Institute of Photography, setting the stage for a full-fledged career snapping portraits and twiddling thumbs in darkrooms. These days, Image Photography is the home base of Matthew's current passion: documenting the slices of life that make up people's personal histories, from birth to weddings and graduation. He snaps candid and posed shots within his controlled studio—where he prefers the sophisticated minimalism of a white background—and his clients can select a favorable outdoor spot for on-location shoots. After each session, he expertly tweaks color levels and digital filters to best accentuate natural grins of each subject while highlighting jawlines that conform to the golden ratio.
After years of snapping photos alone, Matt was joined at Image Photography by Cassie Lawler. While working as a retail banker, Cassie took a vacation to Mexico, where she snapped more than 500 photos. She had a favorite—an image of a beachfront taken from the top of a lighthouse. She hung a print on the only wall that she personally owned, and it was that image that reminded her daily of her inborn passion for photography. When she isn't capturing unforgettable portraits with Matthew, Cassie studies human environmental sciences at the University of Alabama.
Many of Ailey Breeden's portraits place subjects in the sun-flooded landscapes of Chattanooga, smiling on the shores of a babbling stream or in front of a forest as the leaves fade to a mosaic of orange, yellow, and brown. Though she views herself as "just a girl with a camera," Alley—the owner and shutterbug at A Little Bird Photography—has a gift for letting her subjects' personalities surface in photo sessions. Some clients pose with cherished personal items or pets to give their portraits an extra dose of character. In each session, she harnesses natural light to give her pictures a warm feel.
