At any of the 15 Great Life Golf and Fitness locations, guests are encouraged to invent their own triathlon of gusto, switching from swimming in the pool to getting a total body workout to playing a round of golf. Great Life has facilities scattered throughout Kansas and Missouri, including golf courses such as the National Audubon Society–certified River Oaks and the links at The Oaks, which were designed by Tom Bendelow and opened in the 1920s. Golfers looking for quick rounds can drop by the nine-hole courses at Maple Creek, Abilene, and CedarBrook. Gyms such as the 14,000-square-foot fitness center at Berkshire allow members or guests to pump iron or run on treadmills when they aren’t helping their golf balls safely reach the greens by paying golf carts to drink all of the water hazards dry. Although amenities vary at each club, all of Great Life Golf and Fitness’s venues boast a pro shop, and the courses at Berkshire and Prairie View maintain driving ranges where golfers can make golf balls practice flying without their parachutes.
The pilots of Hot Air Balloon Rides Kansas City have flown clients during some of the most important moments of their lives?getting engaged on Valentine's Day, conquering a fear of heights, and a vacation that left one family considering their pilot as an honorary member of the family. It's not surprising that clients find their experiences to be so memorable, as the up to four-hour excursions build plenty of anticipation before groups get to board the basket of an enchantingly colorful balloon. Upon takeoff, guests not only get to experience some of the purest quiet they've ever heard, but they see their surroundings from a completely different vantage point during the beautiful sunrise hours. Balloons can fit up to a dozen people, all of whom will have room at the basket's edge to take videos, pictures, or finely detailed crayon doodles of their trip.

The Napa Valley region of California is known for its picturesque vineyards, rolling hills, and verdant greenery?a place where afternoons are wiled away sipping wine and taking in a majestic sunset. It?s this feeling of tranquility A Touch of Napa Massage & Wellness Clinic?s staff hopes to emulate through its customized massages. During sessions, staffers pull from multiple modalities?including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, sports, and reflexology?to help clients release pent-up worries, chronic pains, and deflated stress balls. The staff also diffuses stress with a tea soak, in which feet steep in a warm bowl filled with chamomile tea and essential oils before being pampered with an exfoliating scrub and shea-butter foot massage.
