I don't even know where to begin. First, this is not my first massage nor even my first groupon massage, so I thought I knew what to expect. I was very mistaken! Scheduling with this place is a disaster. I contacted them with my basic information. They sent back a form to fill out in more detail. Filled out the form. Came home from work one day to get a text "reminder" for a 1:00 appointment the next day - that I never scheduled. Then tried to schedule me that same day at 4 - still not at all in my availability. Finally got an appointment set up. Arrived a half hour early - traffic was better than expected and I figured I would have to fill out some paperwork. Received a text that the therapist was running 15 behind, so could I wait to show up until 15 minutes after my appointment time. They were shocked that I showed up early. Then you fill out the strangest health form I have ever done followed by a groupon "agreement" that you will not use a groupon there again - even though they quote the groupon paragraph that says you must not have been a client in the last nine months (not indefinitely). Nearly every other groupon location I have used encourages multiple groupon use. A half hour after my appointment, the therapist comes out to try to sell me "massage appetizers" before my massage - things like hot stones, magnesium spray, body scrubs, etc. I tell them I just want my massage. What followed was the least relaxing "relaxation massage" I have ever received. A printer was printing loudly in the background. The therapist talked the whole time, trying to tell me to buy special light bulbs, magnesium salts, and to change my BC to fix my headaches. Instead of a relaxing massage, I received something similar to a physical therapy session. I was pulled and jerked and bent. Afterward, I felt more sore and less relaxed than when I went in. I ended up limping for the next couple days until I could get into the chiropractor and another massage therapist who fixed me up. Oh, the kicker is that they charge you $5 in tax when you go to leave, which is not mentioned at any point.
