This was a lot of fun. I would recommend planning for a long dinner. We went with four people and were there for about 2 hours. We were sat immediately. The Groupon covers an entree and a salad. We all had the cheese dish (basically the appetizer), salad, entree, and then dessert. The Groupon covers one entree and one salad. The portions aren't terrible large so we did leave full, but not feeling stuffed and we ate everything. I mention this as you will probably want to order more than just what the Groupon offers. I absolutely recommend eating here. PS you may want to bring a pen, paper, and timer as the foods all have different cooking times in the different pots.

As much as I liked the groupons before, I was disappointed with this one. It doesn't state what your 2 entrees are. In the past it has been cheese/main entree or main entree/dessert. This time it was salad/main entree. Did not save any money.

Good food. Good service. Be prepared to cook your own food ;) It's part of the cool and unique experience.

The two course meal is a salad and entree. There is no choice as to which courses. If you want dessert or appetizers - the actual fondu, you have to pay extra. That said, the food was excellent!

ask for extra sauces or vegies or bread if you run out-they will usually refill these. Remember to review cooking liquid(wines or stocks).

From Our Editors

When The Melting Pot originally opened in 1975 just outside Orlando, the location was cozy and quaint, but diners had only three options: swiss-cheese fondue, beef fondue, or chocolate fondue. However, as the restaurant grew in popularity, so did its menu selection and atmosphere. The restaurant first expanded four years later under the leadership of a Melting Pot waiter and enterprising college student named Mark Johnston, who teamed up with his brothers Mike and Bob to open a new outpost in Tallahassee. This location grew in reputation to pave the way for future franchise expansion. Today, the company—now owned by the trio of siblings—reigns as the premier fondue, wine, and drink restaurant, stretching across North America with more than 140 restaurants linked by underground tunnels. The restaurant's menu has also ballooned, and patrons can now expect six varieties of hot dipping cheese paired with salads, meats, and molten chocolate.

On a given night, groups of foodies gather around tables to nosh on signature four-course meals, from cheese-fondue appetizers and various salads to steaks and seafood cooked in a choice of healthy broth or oil. Birthday revelers and couples can share decadent evenings at private tables, capping off meals with chocolate desserts that have defined The Melting Pot for decades.
