Oakmont Roots Cafe, Havertown

Marc Singer grew up loving his parents' cooking. As a way to pay homage to his roots, he opened a restaurant after that concept. Oakmont Roots Cafe serves la Colombe coffee, pastries (including vegan baked goods), and rolled ice cream. Inspiration for the menu items comes from street food and locally grown items. Banh Mi Hoagie: A Vietnamese-inspired sandwich stuffed with pan-fried tofu on a hoagie roll with spicy mayo, pickled veggies, and cilantro
