Theresa works out of a Salon in Asheville called A Show of Hands. Theresa share The space with the owner , the lovely Kristen Childress. I am a passionate visual artist and hair stylist, but first I am a Healer. It is my mission to create looks that reflect your innermost desire of self as well as help shift out old energy you hold stagnant physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Holding sacred space for my clients to freely discover themselves through healing service and connection allows me to manifest physical looks to their higher frequency. Through intention we begin to Clear away thought patterns of self-image that no longer serve you, and allow new energy in. I like to think of myself as a beauty alchemist. I began my career 12 years ago and I trained for 2.5 years prior to actually working with clients behind the chair. ( education is KEY) Graduating with high honors in a year from a Pivot Point beauty school, I than went on to train at Chicago Salon called Mario Tricoci. This is where I gained a lot of knowledge, trained with leading stylists from the beauty industry & learned how to become a stylist. I stayed with that company for 7 years, than grew into another salon space that provided metaphysical healing services called - The Ruby Room- in Wicker Park, Chicago. The past 2 years I have now gone freelance and it gives me such great joy to grow as an artist, stylist and woman and exchange energy with clients in my own unique way. I provide cutting-edge hair styling,color and stunning bridal - editorial, and event hair. I produce seriously gorgeous blowouts, I am a curly hair specialist, custom cut and styles and balayage are a high demand for me, I LOVE mega transformations so hair extensions are a favorite of mine. I customize every hair appointment/service to each individual keeping things fresh, on-trend, and high vibe and I provide consistently exceptional work
