Black Restaurant Week, Atlanta

Black Restaurant Week aims to raise awareness of the black culinary industry across the city and the country. Contrary to its name, however, Houston Black Restaurant Week lasts much longer than a week. The inaugural restaurant week launched in spring of 2016, but there are many other events throughout the year. During Harvest the Block, for example, black farmers from around the state display their wares during a three-day farmers' market and block party, complete with plenty of exclusive meals and special events.
