I didn’t read the reviews before my appointment—I made that mistake the hard way. I purchased this service through Groupon, and nowhere did it mention a $25 copay + tax. I’ve never had a teeth whitening service—or even a spa—charge a copay. I’ve also never seen a doctor’s office charge taxes on a copay—that alone raised a red flag. I drove a distance for this appointment, and since they wouldn’t refund me, I felt forced to either lose my money or pay the extra fee. They also don’t take before-and-after photos, so there’s no real way to compare results unless you take your own—which I wish I had done. And looking back at my photos, there was no noticeable difference in my teeth. Overall, this was not a good experience. Lack of transparency, unexpected fees, and poor process. Shame on me for not reading the reviews beforehand—but also shame on the business for not being upfront about the true cost. Risking your reputation over $25 + tax doesn’t make good business sense. Would not recommend.

You have to pay a co-payment, should have been informed before appointment, facial didn’t last an hour, but the service was great

BEWARE!! (proof attached) Just to let y'all I am absolutely appalled by the misleading advertisement. I get to this Buckhead Body Shaping Spa as scheduled and first of all I had to pay $40 out of pocket for “consultation or have to reject the shocker and drive back home over 45 minutes, achieving nothing. I pay the fees and later find out that the massage would not be more than 15 minutes for what was supposed to be 60 minutes as booked, because they have to take time to explain numerous types of massages I may need before the actual massage I paid for, begins. And the time they take to explain is part of my paid time. The whole thing was funny, disappointing, and as sketchy as could be. So bad that I left without getting the said 15-minute massage at all and I also let them keep my $40 as one of those bad debts you hope can make the debtors become better people if they have a conscience or have a repentant heart. I wouldn't have liked to see myself arguing with them for $40 anyways, as they already had explained procedures to me, which may be regarded as “consultation”. but evidently stealing by trick. Groupon only now has to refund my money. These ads should be very clear on what you get for what you're paying for instead of enabling people to drive so far to go waste precious time with dishonest and tricky business actors. Thumbs down Buckhead BodyShaping Spa. It's a shame!

There’s an extra $25 dollars due when you get there for new clients that wasn’t mentioned anywhere and I was waiting an hour and a half before they actually started my service
