Devona was very professional and kind. She works alone, so the environment is quiet and there is not a chemical smell. She did an outstanding job with my pedi - gentle, thorough, and my toes looked beautiful afterwards. A very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Thank you, Devona!

The quality of the work is really good, it was just kind of difficult to make an appointment

I loved my experience there! I didn't know it existed until the groupon but would definitely go back even without a groupon!

Didn't know about this business until I received the Groupon, so thought I'd give it a try. It was probably the worst manicure & pedicure I've ever gotten. First, her hours are very limited so I had to take off work early to get an appointment (closes at 5:00 during the week and only open for a couple of hours on Saturdays, which are taken up by regulars). The pedicure consisted of me putting my feet in a tub of barely warm, almost cool water. There was no message to speak of (which usually comes along with a pedicure). When she did my fingernails, she ran an emery board across them, did the cuticles, put a little lotion on them and painted. She didn’t attempt to round them off or to file down any irregularities. I asked her for a gel polish (an extra $15) for my fingernails that would come close to matching the polish on my toenails (not gel). The one she used didn't even come close. When she painted them, she didn't even go all the way to the cuticle, so within two days, the paint was already about 1/8” down the nail. There was no dryer for toenails, but it took so long to do the manicure I figured there was still plenty of time for them to dry (almost an hour). One of the reasons it took so long was because she stopped what she was doing to talk on the phone three times while I was there. When I started to leave, she gave me a pair of paper slippers and told me not to put my shoes on for at least another hour. It was about 30 degrees outside that day, not to mention the fact that I had planned on stopping at the store on my way home. Not that it mattered though, because the slippers were torn up by the time I reached my car, so I had to take them off. When I did, the paint on both my big toes had coagulated so what didn’t come off with the paper had to be rubbed off so it wouldn’t leave a gelatinous mess on my nails. If it had been summer, I would have had to have them redone the same day. I’m just glad it was cold out so no one could see my shoe-covered feet. However, a few days later the temp went up into the 60s - 70s and I had an outdoor event to go to, so within less than a week, I had to go someplace else to have them redone. I bought the Groupon for three manicures and three pedicures, but she didn’t have another appointment available for three weeks. I had already decided not to bother going back for the other two sessions, however. I think I paid $35 for 3 “signature flower” manicures and $39 for 3 “sunflower- petal” pedicures. Is there any way to get my money back, even though I used one of each? I won’t be going back.

From Our Editors

It’s no coincidence that Devona Davis-Gordon, owner of Delaney’s Nail Loft, named most of her treatments after natural elements, such as helios, which means sun in Greek, or anthos, which means flower. The chic nail boutique is located right outside the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and the salon tends to use environmentally friendly products such as organic sugar scrubs and soothing bath salts. Both men and women can pop into the serene space for one of three indulgent manicure or pedicure treatments, and services for the ladies end with a colorful coat of China Glaze polish or two weeks’ worth of Gelish polish. Devona’s team also waxes away unwanted hair from the face and body and pumps up lashes with volume-boosting extensions.
