U-Float's technicians offer a unique experience: the chance to escape the world adrift salt water in a private, person-sized tank. The experience belongs to the client and the 10 inches of heated water. Though not even a foot deep, the water inside every unit contains 1,000 pounds of dissolved, pharmaceutical-grade epsom salt, turning the liquid into the next best thing to a mattress. Heated to the same temperature as the skin, the water creates the sensation of simply floating in air, unfettered by gravity and finally able to turn off internal chatter. Other benefits include a reprieve from joint pain, insomnia, or stress.
