Do NOT buy this Groupon! This place is closed down! They were illegally keeping and showing wild animals, treating them horribly!

The positive are the 3 employees that were there the day my husband and I visited. However, the grounds are poorly kept and the amenities are definitely not upscale or even to the level to recommend to tourists visiting the area.

We had a nice time! Just at first a bit nervous cause we did not realize the ranch was a rescue for animals . And all the money they make is for the animals. Then seeing the thin horses made since! They do an amazing job !! We had a fun day!!

While it was nice to ride through the lovely horse pasture, there was no hay on the hayride and it was the puniest pumpkin patch I've ever seen.

Cabins are 1950's single wide trailers with sand in bed and stained sheets. Dining area was dirty with mold on the condiments & food was overlooked. Swimming beach smelled likr raw sewege. Definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place.

From Our Editors

A mother horse and her newborn colt saunter up to the wooden fence, greeting the children eager to pet the creatures' noses. The team members of Graystone Ranch thrive on seeing these types of interactions. Managing 500 acres of woods and pasturelands that serve as a preserve and rehabilitation center for both domestic and exotic animals, the ranch hands form a nonprofit team dedicated to teaching children and adults how man and animals can live in harmony.

Concurrent with such educational programs as summer camps, the grounds also host abundant recreational opportunities with two spring-fed lakes, wooded hiking and horse-riding trails, zip lines, and a petting zoo. Further diversions range from a gem-and-mineral museum to a horse-painting program, which lets kids put their colored handprints or re-creations of a favorite Monet on the sides of a white horse.
