Fun visit, but definitely a work in progress. Lots of possibilities, but still needs work to warrant the non-discounted admission. Good luck to them!
They were still adding more to the museum but it was a fantastic experience for the whole family. We even played a few throw back arcade games.
A little small but free arcades and some cool stuff. Friendly staff.
Lots of fun especially for my husband and I - 80’s kids right here. The Austin Toy Museum was a trip down memory lane. Our 7 year old daughter also enjoyed herself, she is now a PAC Man fan.
We had a really good time going back down memory lane...
Some cool toys but not worth the price, even with a Groupon
Way to small to charge what they do
My grandkids were not happy at all :(
Made the trip from San Marcos, paid way too much for parking only to find out that all of the toys are behind glass. You are only able to play a few arcade games that are included with the ticket purchase. The museum is cool but only about 10 minuets of entertainment. I took a 2,7 and 9 year old and I couldn’t help but feel they hovered over us the entire time. Not the best customer service either
So Cool to see All the toys and evolution!! Very cool place to take my kiddos! Me and my youngest daughter where hooked to the Street Fighter game. 😁👍

He-Man. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Q'Bert. At Austin Toy Museum, you can see all of these and up to 40,000 more thanks to a rotating collection of vintage toys and games. At the helm: museum director Caleb Zammit, whose collection of nearly 20,000 toys corralled during his childhood and adulthood served as the inspiration behind the museum. What's more, he and the staff do more than welcome visitors to peruse the nostalgia-laden space—they welcome donations to enhance the museum and jumpstart childhood memories.
