The mother and daughter behind Caffe Aragona spread their love of all things Italian to Austinites with their Italian cafe food and LavAzza coffee. Their bright red storefront, complete with bistro tables on the sidewalk, promises paninis, gelato, baked treats, and espresso from a company that has been energizing Italians for 120 years. Inside, the mother and daughter nestle prosciutto and brie on paninis, churn out margarita pizzas, and mix up light salads crowned with mozzarella and basil. They also bake Italian wedding cookies and apple pie.

Caffe Aragona is a quaint downtown coffee shop that serves the best coffee going... LavAzza!!! I didn't try any of their food options, though they looked delicious. They had a nice selection of croissants, bagels, cinnamon rolls and quiches. Considering moving to downtown just to be closer to this place for my morning fix.
