Mt Playmore, Austin

The staff at Mt. Playmore calls its play structure "Texas-sized," and they're only exaggerating a little bit. This multilevel behemoth stretches 18 feet toward the ceiling and has a footprint 60 feet deep and 120 feet wide, much larger than that of a true giant, such as Paul Bunyun or Charles Barkley. Multiple types of soft surfaces protect little ones from painful falls, and the playscape is roomy enough for parents to easily join their moppets in scampering about. At the arcade, kids test their reaction skills with video and redemption games, while toddlers enjoy their own 1,400-square-foot play space. For extra security, the staff also keeps a close eye on the scene to ensure kids leave with who they arrived with.
