Great as always! Never disappointing! We go there often for special occasions and it’s pretty pricey but totally worth it, however the Groupon was a great little break from our wallets!
The food was really delicious, the atmosphere was great and the staff were very efficient and kind. The pacing of the meal was perfect. It was a special and very enjoyable evening for my husband and me.
Loved their food, service and atmosphere
The food was creative and delicious and the service was excellent. They were very cooperative about seating us in a booth where I could elevate my broken ankle and where it was quiet enough for conversation. The ambience is quite lovely.
sat at the bar. the food & service was very good.
Great Food + Service. Probably my Best Anniversary Dinner Ever
This was our fifth experience at Roy's. Another excellent meal and and variety of choices. Look forward to another visit.
The menu was exciting and different, and the actual food met a very high standard.
I purchased the groupon because my initial experience at Roys was simply amazing. I noticed that the taste and quality of food available with the groupon was not at all the same. The salmon (which is their specialty as conveyed by the manager on my first visit) was not the same quality of fish at all. The selection was much more limited and I felt disappointed in the food experience. The service was sort of slow and we were there on a Monday night. The occupancy was less than half. Maybe we just came on a bad night.
Delicious meal! Look forward to another enjoyable evening at Roy's. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service.
From Our Editors
Born in Tokyo, Roy Yamaguchi experienced his first taste of seafood while visiting his grandparents in Maui. He was instantly hooked: that first taste inspired what Roy wanted to do with his life.
Roy grew up to be a James Beard Award-winning chef and a visionary in the culinary world. He blended European techniques and Pacific Rim cuisine into what is now known as Hawaiian fusion, which he dished out at the first Roy's Restaurant in Honolulu in 1988. Today, there are Roy's locations all over the world. At each one, local chefs put their own spins on Roy's vision.
