Acadia Hotel, Bar Harbor

As I believe someone else had mentioned, I felt like I was sleeping in Grandma's upstair's bedroom. Clean, old, limited parking, small but adequate room, basic, bare bones accomodation. Location was good.

The room was described as having a view of the mountains. The only view was that of other rooftops. The trash can was not emptied while we were there and there was only one in the suite. The toilet and sink was not cleaned during our stay. We were only there for 2 nights but I expect those to be daily housekeeping. There was also no phone in the room which we found odd. It was an ok stay for what we paid but if we had paid full price we would have been very disappointed.

Room was nicely decorated and the bath had recently been re-done. It was a nice relaxing experience.

Thanks for a great visit. We'll be back.
