At East Bay Oyster Bar, they bring together local staples cooked the East Coast way (think New England clam chowder and crab cakes) and Mediterranean fare (from calamari to risotto)—all served in a Mediterranean-rustic eatery marked by mosaic-tiled pillars and wide-open windows that give a taste of al fresco dining. The roasted local cod, for instance, pairs with pesto risotto cooked in a clam and spicy tomato broth, and they also offer from-the-land options, like Prime flank steak and Angus bacon burgers.

This is a GREAT deal. Our server was very helpful and provided just the right amount of attentiveness. The EB Calamari was tender and seasoned just right. The Fish Taco - Baked w/ chipotle aioli, avocado, cucumber radish & lime-- was a spot on recommendation she gave me. Scrumptious and not heavy. My hubby ordered the Crab Spaghetti which was a winner. Good portion size. I just wish they had some Oyster fare. For an "Oyster Bar" they didn't have any and not even a buck-a-shuck promo. In all, I still like this place. Great ambience and service without emptying your wallet. If you want to impress guests, here is where you take them without feeling oppressed by price. Just stay away from the wine menu unless you want to splurge that way. By the glass is a tad pricey.
