Hudson River Seafood Festival, Beacon

This event was awful!!! The lines were long to almost every vendor. It took over an hour to be served. At one point they ran out of food!!! Also the prices were outrageously expensive for the portions being served. I requested a refund and I'm still waiting for it!!

From problems with using the Groupon to almost no signagefor the event location or parking to overselling the event (causing ridiculous long longs at the inadequate number of food vendors) this event was a bust and we left within an hour of arriving. Never again!

I expected a delicious variety of fresh seafood dishes. Instead, lines were an hour long, food ran out and what was left was poor fast-food quality. Would not attend again although the river setting was nice!

Area along the River was lovely. Event was huge disappointment! Went early, waited on hour - long lines to find out food had run out ( lobster rolls) and fried shrimp that was left was mediocre at best. I expected a seafood feast, not fast -food truck quality food. No seating was also very inconvenient/uncomfortable and awkward to eat standing up for hours. Many people walked out mid-day.
