That's because the eatery, whose name is a blend of "Indian" and "unique," treats its diners to regional cuisine frequently found on the carts of street vendors. Items such as Bhel Puri—rice puffs with noodles, cilantro, and chutney from Mumbai—and Kathi Rolls—Calcutta's spiced chicken or cheese stuffed in between multi-layered bread—mingle on a menu with classic vegetarian and vegan dishes including shallot potatoes and Dal Makhani. Seafood entrees also make the cut in the form of shrimp and scallop masala and tandoori spice crusted salmon, while traditional Indian bread known as naan is welcome addition to any dish.
