The margaritas tasted like a mix, and were small for the price. The taquitos were very plain. And my Groupon was for $7, they only took $6.60 off the bill, I've never seen that before on a Groupon.

most of their food is average for Mexican in Boise (mediocre if you're from the Southwest). But the salsa bar is great and the steak tacos in Javier's favorite were excellent. Could have had more steak but soft tacos with guacamole, etc. Go for the medium size, they come with "Mexican potatoes" that were basically home fries with some chili powder and lots of cheese. They were not greasy and were different from what you find elsewhere. The standard chips/salsa were warm but not fresh tasting and not even salted, The beans on the side were plain but nice. Get some salsas from the salsa bar to go with your chips. Worth the trip over. All were good. I say 3 out of 5.
