Freshness is an overarching theme at Laffa. The Mediterranean-inspired restaurant makes many of its menu items from scratch daily, whether its the housemade hummus crafted from a family recipe or the gourmet shirazi, spiced cauliflower, or sweet chili slaw. But rather than have its visitors gobble these goodies up through a funnel, Laffa sprinkles them on salads, and packs them into warm falafels or whole-wheat pitas. The restaurant also makes its own organic frozen yogurt from fresh, pureed fruit and goat's milk, changing up its selection of flavors from season to season.
